FAQ

Answers before you deploy.

Short, factual answers. Each one describes how VibingView actually behaves today.

What can I deploy on VibingView?

Containerised web applications, APIs and background services. Projects are built from a ZIP archive, a GitHub repository or the one-click catalog; Node.js, Next.js, Vite, static sites, Python and PHP/Laravel builds are generated automatically, and any project with a Dockerfile builds as-is.

Do I need to manage the VPS myself?

No. VibingView provisions the server, installs the workspace agent, builds containers with Docker BuildKit, routes traffic with Caddy and issues HTTPS certificates. You deploy and manage applications from the dashboard, the CLI or an AI editor through the MCP connector.

Is a workspace a shared server?

No. One workspace is one dedicated VPS with fixed CPU, RAM, storage and transfer. Several applications and managed databases can share that VPS, but never another customer.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Point an A record at your server (the dashboard shows the exact record) or connect with nameservers, and VibingView issues and renews the HTTPS certificate. Each application can have up to three custom domains.

Which databases are available?

PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis and MongoDB run as managed containers on the workspace's private network. A database can be linked to an application in one click, which sets its DATABASE_URL and restarts the app without a rebuild.

How does billing work?

You prepay a wallet in euros by card or crypto. Each workspace is billed for its term (1, 6 or 12 months) up front and renews from the wallet. The price is fixed per plan; there is no metered compute, bandwidth overage or surprise invoice.

What happens when my wallet is empty at renewal?

The workspace is powered off for a 28-day recovery window instead of being deleted. Top up and restore it from the dashboard; after 28 days without payment the server is removed.

Can I scale to a bigger server later?

Yes. Request a larger plan from the workspace page. There is no automatic resize; support confirms the migration and price before anything is charged.

Can I deploy from an AI editor or a terminal?

Yes. The VibingView CLI pairs with your account from the terminal, and the MCP connector lets AI editors list applications, read logs, set environment variables and trigger rebuilds with scoped tokens.

Where do my backups live?

You can export your source archives and database dumps at any time, and VPS snapshots are available on supported compute pools. Keep an independent backup of anything you cannot recreate.
